The big day has finally arrived…that’s right folks, Bethemiddleman.com has entered Beta!

The Beta stage allows us to test the site prior to launch. We’d love you to help out by visiting the site and doing two things:

1) Use it.
2) Give honest feedback.

Please create listings, upload photos, search for properties – use the website exactly how you normally would. If you find any technical errors or have any feedback, use the feedback button to let us know. All feedback is welcome so don’t be shy!

Any property listings you create on the Beta site will be ‘pretend’ so you can upload any pictures or text you want. If you have a real property for sale however, it might be best to wait until the 29th August when the website goes live for real.

It’s only two days to the Bethemiddleman.com beta launch and we’d just like to put out a final request for Beta testers. The site launches for real on the 29th August, but from Sunday 16th the Beta version will be live and everyone will be able to give feedback on the site.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s registered to take part so far – if you haven’t registered yet and you’d like to take a sneaky peak, just Sign Up!

The pressure is on at Bethemiddleman.com to make our self-imposed deadline for the official BETA launch. Months of work and 25 hour days all point to the date of 29th August 2009, at 12 noon. It’s a Saturday, the day when most people will be having a well deserved lay-in, or preparing for the big kick-off, but not the peeps at Bethemiddleman.com. The big red lever with the sign above saying ‘LAUNCH’ and a rotating red siren light will be primed and readied, as once we launch there’s no going back.

BETA testers that have signed up will shortly receive a BETA guide to help them test the website to the fullest. We feel the more you can break it now, the less issues we’ll face further down the line.

Bethemiddleman.com is nearing the final stages in it’s development and we need people like you to test it. Thinking about it, we want you to break it!

You’ll get a special Beta tester login and be welcomed into the ‘inner circle’. Testing will be easy, you see a bug or something you feel could be improved and you report it. Every page you visit has a ‘feedback’ button which when clicked, tells us what page you are viewing and when you report it. You then simply fill in your name, a summary of the bug then the bug description itself. Before we know it you and our other beta testers could have reported hundreds of bugs. This is fantastic! Seriously, the sooner we mold the site into pure excellence, the sooner people can use it.

The Process is simple, first;

1. Register to be a Beta tester by clicking on the beta signup button on the homepage.
2. Signin
3. TEST TEST TEST!
4. REPORT REPORT REPORT!
5. That’s it!

Because Bethemiddleman is FREE, we want to build the best site possible so that those involved anywhere on the property ladder have a real alternative to Estate Agents. So we need your help. Become a Beta tester today!
